Because the voltage at both ends of the capacitor can not be changed, SCR2 does not turn on when AN is pressed, and the current is charged to C by R3 and VD2. If AN is pressed again, the voltage on the capacitor C is the trigger voltage of the SCR2, so that the SCR2 is closed when AN is closed, the anode voltage of SCR1 is reduced, SCR1 cutoff, and K is released. The capacitor C is discharged through the control pole and cathode of R2 and SCR2, and the circuit is restored to its original state. Thus the self locking effect is realized.
